Content Policy & Community Standards
Blipmood is for sharing ideas, conversations, creativity and connections. Everyone is welcome to participate respectfully. These rules apply across public and private communities, posts, comments, videos, stories, profiles, direct messages, live features and marketplace listings.
1. Respect people
Do not threaten, bully, stalk, sexually harass or coordinate harassment of others. Hate speech, dehumanizing attacks, and calls for violence targeting people based on protected identity or vulnerability are prohibited. Debate, criticism and disagreement are welcome when they do not become targeted abuse.
2. Participate authentically
Follow applicable community rules. Do not spam, flood discussions with repetitive promotions, use deceptive links, manipulate votes or engagement, coordinate inauthentic activity, or repeatedly disrupt discussions. Disclose relevant commercial interests when promoting your own products or services.
3. Protect privacy and consent
Do not expose or solicit another person's private details, credentials or sensitive records without authorization, or encourage others to harass them. Never share or threaten to share intimate images without consent, including fabricated or altered intimate imagery. Avoid publicly sharing screenshots of private conversations without permission.
4. Protect children and teens
Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, predatory contact and attempts to obtain or distribute sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited. Do not post identifying information that endangers a child. Report urgent child-safety concerns immediately through Support and contact appropriate local emergency or child-protection authorities when needed. Do not redistribute harmful material when reporting it.
5. Be honest about identity
Parody and pseudonyms are allowed, but deceptive impersonation, fake official endorsements, misleading verification claims, fraudulent identities and scams are not. Do not misrepresent a community, person, business or organization as officially verified or affiliated with Blipmood.
6. Give people predictable experiences
Use available content and community labels accurately for potentially disturbing, graphic or mature material. A label never makes prohibited content permissible. If a feature cannot yet label material appropriately, do not use it to share content that requires age-gating or a content warning; choose safer material or contact Support.
7. Keep activity lawful
Do not facilitate fraud, trafficking, illegal sales, exploitation, prohibited weapons transactions, copyright infringement or other illegal activity. Share only content you have the right to publish. Marketplace participants must describe listings truthfully and follow applicable law.
8. Protect the platform
Do not hack accounts, scrape private information, bypass bans, evade access controls, abuse reporting tools, attempt denial-of-service attacks or interfere with platform operations. Security research should be reported responsibly through Support, not exploited against users.
Additional rules inside communities
Community owners and authorized moderators may publish extra, topic-specific rules—such as staying on topic, citing sources or using a designated thread for promotions. These are additional restrictions, never exceptions to Blipmood's platform-wide policy.
Community rules must be accessible to participants, relevant to the community, consistently enforced, and must not permit harassment, discrimination, exploitation, privacy violations or other conduct prohibited above. Blipmood staff may remove or override abusive or conflicting community rules or moderator actions. Members can report content or a moderator's misuse of these powers through Support.
Reports, enforcement and review
Depending on severity, context and history, Blipmood or community moderators may request changes, label or hide content, remove content, warn an account, limit features, suspend access, ban an account, or restrict a community. Serious risks may warrant immediate action. Community moderators can apply only the powers delegated to them; platform-wide restrictions remain with authorized Blipmood staff.
Reports should include enough context for a fair review. Automated filters may temporarily hold suspicious content for review and can make mistakes. A report is not proof of wrongdoing. We aim to evaluate context and documented evidence before permanent enforcement wherever practical. To challenge a moderation decision, use Support and provide the relevant post, community or report reference. Some dedicated appeal tools may not yet be available.
